CHARLOTTE, NC – September 6, 2011 –
SATO, a leader in barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions,
announced today the appointment of Gary Krause as the new Vice President
of Global Marketing and Alliances.
Mr. Krause will direct and assist in the execution of strategic
marketing and alliance activities for SATO’s three Regional
Headquarters; SATO International America, SATO International Europe and
SATO International Asia Pacific, and will report direct to J. Michael
Fowler, General Manager of SATO Corporation’s International Business
Division and Senior Executive Officer of the SATO Holding Corporation.
His overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
development of global vertical markets, B2B alliances, global customer
programs and oversight of regional marketing functions.
“Mr. Krause joined the SATO America team in 2003 as our distribution
manager and quickly implemented programs of merchandising and marketing
that provided tangible benefits to our partners and the corporation,
said Mr. Fowler. “In 2006, Gary was promoted to Director of Marketing
for SATO America and made an immediate and positive impact to the SATO
brand through channel marketing programs, the implementation of the SATO
Premier Partner Program, the Voice of the Customer application videos
and product training videos, and the positioning of SATO America into
the electronic world of market communications and social networking. He
has advanced our market position throughout North America.
Mr. Fowler continued, “Recently his proficiency in electronic media
marketing has proved very beneficial to the corporation as he was an
intricate team-leading member in the design and implementation of SATO’s
global and regional web sites. His leadership, commitment and
contributions to the International Business Division of SATO are
advancing our market presence around the globe.”
